We stopped here for lunch on our way from Maryland to New York. It came up in a search for restaurants near our route, and it sounded like a good spot. Oh my goodness... It completely blew away our expectations! It's a tiny place; just four tables. They encourage people to sit with other guests. Ordering is done at the counter. I wish I had gotten the lady's name; she was so cheerful! Ah, the food... I got a BBQ Chicken Melt, which had just the right crunch and seasoning. The fries were perfect. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich and a cup of ham and bean soup. We topped it off with dishes if ice cream; the dark chocolate crunch was to die for. This will be a must-visit spot whenever we pass this way!

I stopped here for a late lunch on the way from work to a community activity. It was on the way and seemed like a great place for a quick stop. I pulled in about 1:15. I went right to the counter and put in my order. I deiced on a White "Blue Pig" Pork sandwich. They call it Bar-B-Que but it seems more like a pulled pork type of deal. The white version of the sandwich means it doesn't have a red barbecue sauce - which is how I prefer it. It's not a very sexy sandwich. But it's very tasty. Sandwich is $5.49. There are lots of different options for sandwiches. The soups sounded awesome. If I thought there was any possibility of being able to drive and eat soup at the same time, I would have tried the soup. I plan to stop in again, to grab some food (probably the soup) and top things off with some ice cream for dessert.

Had the chocolate banana split with a chocolate shell. I've been wanting another for a month now! The ice cream was so good. The chili bread bow was alright, I paid for extra cheese and only received one to go ramekin so not sure if it comes with cheese. I will be back for the ice cream soon.

Ate here on Memorial Day in the later evening (7:30ish)... What a find! Staff was pleasant, place was clean, portions were large, and prices were insanely good! Two adult sandwiches with fries and drink, as well as a kids meal with a side and a drink was 18 dollars, that's really good compared to a lot of places these days! Food was delicious and fresh, and the deck was so pleasant to enjoy a holiday meal on. Only wish we had found this place sooner, we will be back more often! (Plus my son loved the playground, and the trains going by on the railways)
